Position Description:
Object-Oriented Programmer position for medical device development company.

Responsibilities:
Provide programming support for the automated microscopy system. Refine and improve software modules involved in the control of automated and semi-automated analytical instrumentation, optical image capture and processing, scientific computing, laboratory data management, and report generation, including data visualization.

• Requirements:
• BS Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Two years programming experience in analytical instrumentation or an analogous systems environment
• Command of C# or C++; knowledge of other object-oriented programming skills
• Team work-style skills
• Familiarity with the Windows platform in a research environment
• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems, image archiving, document management, or similar environments
• Familiarity with off-the-shelf statistics packages
• Familiar with the graphical presentation of complex analytical data
• Knowledge of or demonstrated interest in bioscience a plus
