What we do
HistoRx improves efficiency and effectiveness across the entire drug development continuum by providing the first advanced platform capable of measuring biomarker concentration with sub-cellular resolution in tissue sections. HistoRx services and products are used throughout biomedical research and pre-clinical and clinical drug development.

Currently, immunohistochemical analysis (IHC) is the standard of care for assessment of protein expression in human tissue.  However, IHC is qualitative, lacks standardization, and is inherently subjective resulting in significant deficiencies in the generation and interpretation of test results. HistoRx will replace IHC with quantitative and cost effective biomarker measurement in tissue sections. With the results from AQUA® analysis, oncologists will for the first time have highly quantitative, standardized and reproducible test results that will allow optimal therapeutic treatment selection.

How we do it
Proprietary AQUA® technology from HistoRx brings standardization and reproducibility to IHC analysis. The AQUA® platform utilizes automated fluorescent image acquisition and data processing to offer superior quantification than achievable with conventional chromagen-based systems.  The digital imaging analysis software results in signal resolution rivaling confocal microscopy while eliminating visual subjectivity associated with conventional IHC methods.
